The Mathematical Society of South Eastern Europe is announcing the 4th International Mathematical Olympiad for first and second year university students. The Olympiad will be hosted by the Union of Bulgarian Mathematicians in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, between March 8 and March 13, 2010.

Eligible students are those who do not complete 120 ECTS credits (or 60 USA credits) or have a freshman or sophomore status or are not beyond the second university year of undergraduate studies by the end of the 2009-2010 academic year. Participants could be teams from individual higher education institutions and/or national teams of countries. A student may belong to both an institution team and the national team of the country in which the institution is located. Please read the regulations for more details.

All interested institutions or countries are asked to create a user account as soon as possible, preferably by January 10, 2010. (Please note that this expression of interest does not oblige you to participate in the Olympiad.) The team information in the user account should be provided by February 13, 2010.
